A major update: HLstatsZ now installs itself, manages SourceBans and AMXBans without their websites, and gets a new look.
- Installer: on a new database, the site sets itself up in one step: the database, its tables, your first admin, and the latest updates. It asks for the database password of config.php to prove the site is yours.
- No SourceBans or AMXBans website needed: bans, comm blocks, admins, groups and servers are managed from HLstatsZ, and Admin › Bans › Bans Settings creates their databases with your table prefix.
- Sign in with Steam, recommended for admins: no admin password stored on the site.
- SourceBans / SourceBans++ (Source, CS2) and AMXBans (GoldSrc), alone or merged in the same pages
- Dashboard: active and total bans, comm blocks, blocked joins, a ban history chart (per year, month or day), the latest bans
- Servers list with live map and players; admins kick, ban and unban over RCON
- Players signed in with Steam see their own status, with Report a player and Appeal a ban links to your forum or Discord
- AMXBans in-game admins and server RCON passwords, managed in Admin › Bans › AMXBans
- New Bans section: Bans Settings and AMXBans
- RCON console, also for servers HLstatsZ doesn’t track
- Tools › Repair Double-Encoded Text: fixes garbled names (é instead of é) after a MySQL to MariaDB move
- A clear page when the database doesn’t answer, instead of a blank error
- Removed: Host Statistics and Host Groups (obsolete)
- Player and clan profiles: a new header with key figures and favorites
- Forum signatures redesigned, with codes for phpBB, XenForo, Invision and Discord
- Seasonal themes: Halloween and Noel
- The bans pages translated into every language
- New site icon
- sql/install.sql failed on MySQL 8 and MariaDB 10.2+ (strict mode): 10 teams had an invalid value
- CS2 RCON: commands could come back empty
- Left 4 Dead 2 ribbons: days players can actually reach
- Security: a cross-site scripting hole in the header search is closed, and sql/ is no longer served by the web server
- Back up your database and your config.php.
- Replace the files. config.php was reorganized: copy your values into the new one, and set your own SECRET_KEY.
- Open the admin panel and click Update (database version 91).
