I could make like a Snipezilla video but I'd rather it be user submitted content instead of my own.

I was thinking of holding some sort of contest where people submit their best SvS killstreak from Snipezilla to me in the form of a demo. Creating demos is extremely easy so just record your gameplay and if you get a really nice killstreak, email it to me with some note of when the killstreak happens so I don't have to watch the whole thing. Minimal work on your end.

After like a month, I'll make a video of the top 10 killstreaks (I'll just use my own judgement for selection). People can then vote on which killstreak was the best on this forum and the winner can receive some sort of prize from me.

This video could then be used to represent Snipezilla and it would be a good way to showcase various SvS styles other than my gimicky style lol.

If there is interest in this, I might make it happen. What kind of prize would be good for this kind of contest...maybe one bud or would it have to be more than that? I could supply one bud myself but if the prize is more than that, I might need some help.

Just in case someone doesn't know how to record a demo could you please explain the steps and where the demo will be located on completion? Also, how are we going to send you the video?

You just go into console and type "record dauphin_orange" for example if you are playing on orange. To stop recording, you type "stop" in the console.

The file will be located at a location something like:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf

and it would be called dauphin_orange.dem

you would just email that dauphin_orange.dem to me as an attachment and I would use that to create a video...that's how I make my own videos. The only problem is that one 30 min round of snipezilla usually produces a demo of about 18 mb in size and I don't know if a file that big can be sent through email.

Could also have a price for the best snipin' movie submitted with some kind of vote. And you may win this one :P
