Hello and welcome to the official thread of Snipeboards!
With my last thread I talked about an idea I had about a great project of building a website that could unite the Sniper community once and for all. If you didn't already take a look, here's the thead : http://www.snipezilla.com/threads/need-opinions-on-this-project.235/. After now 2 days of feedback, I can clearly come to the conclusion that the sniper community wants this project coming to life. Every response to the idea were positive, however there is a certain debate over the 1V1 mode that I proposed, but we'll get into that further on the post.
Administrators
I have chosen 8 admins as Snipeboards staff. All good and old time snipers who are respected and appreciated throughout the sniper community. They are also listed as group moderator on the official Snipeboards steam group. Here is the list:
1V1 game mode
This gamemode would, originally, be a match making system based on the Elo system. The goal here would be to rank you based on your skill level. You would be matched with players of your caliber to see who is truly the best sniper ever! However, this concept brought a debate on the fact that 1v1 sniper is not a way to evaluate skill etc,etc. This is why my friend robin and I came up with a second idea for this 1v1 gamemode: players could manually challenge other players into 1v1 matches. This concept would be less competitive and more friendly avoiding the drama between players. So here's the deal, I want you to vote for which of these 2 game modes you want to be the one. VOTE ON THE POLL !!!!!!!
P.S: Every 1v1 games would be played on 3 maps, so best of 3.
2V2 tournament game mode
This gamemode would consist in organizing automatically 2v2 tournaments with great prize every week or so. There would be a page where you could sign up your team and enter your entry fee which would be (depending on the tournament of course) around 2-3 ref per player. Of course a trading bot would take care of tournament entries. This bot is still in progress but will be available for donations in about 1 week from today.
Clan scrims game mode
The final gamemode would consist in a whole section for clans. Every clan leader could register his clan to the database with a short description, then player interested in a clan could apply to it easily. Clan leaders would also sign up a scrim team line up of 6 players (4 usuals and 2 subs) and will be able to challenge other clans to a scrim by simply pressing a button. The opponent clan would have the choice to accept or decline the challenge.
I think that with a little bit of effort from everyone of us, we can make this project happen. If you are interested in helping me out with Coding the website or designing the website, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

!, if that happends the real deal about people who 2nd scope and those who not will be notice by everyone. And hatred will arise again xD. Is something to think about.
