New Rig!

Besides playing, why not try CS5 and create a nice logo for sourcebans.snipezilla.com; Just saying

Agree; I have a CM V8 with some silver paste: awesome!
intel stock fans are not good quality with poor performance.

What kind of dimensions would the banner be? And where does it sit :P
I can give my hand a try! Practice makes perfect.

Right, I'll get some ideas drawn up then!

Looks like I'm gonna need to add an aftermarket CPU fan.

I've been getting a lot of recommendations on this fan here: The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

CPU is hitting 60°C after an hour or two of TF2 and installing a bunch of games at the same time. And it doesn't help that my room isn't very well ventilated. I've exited TF2 and am installing Battlefield 4 and the CPU's temp is maintaining around 60°C.

Almost guarantee if you install after market it will be in the 40's degree Celsius. My graphic cards run at 60 Celsius gaming and that is hot but not hot for gfx cards.

You good but it will be much larger than you anticipate. If you have a 140mm side fan it will most probably need to be removed.

It is really bad ass though. This is a larger nanometer processor which throws more heat, it is maxed out in terms of voltage which makes it really freaking hot and it as about the same temp as your shitty intel stock fan. I bet you barely running 1.2 volts.

You are gonna be in the 30's- mid 40's under load and probably in the 20's when idle.

I had this before I went to water.

Hmm, so, what?

I mean: did he change his cooling to fix his temp?
