Hello guys I think most of everyone from the server and forum know me. My name is Gabriel, I am 19 years old and I'm doing my second admin request for SnipeZilla.

I think I'm qualified to retake that position because first, I've been playing Snipe Vs Sniper gamemode for almost 4 years now, I have over 1600 hours on the sniper class with almost 500 registered on this server (Rank #3). I know this community, I know every aspect of it, I know how to take care of it. I've been admin on every SvS NA servers there is out there: Sanctuary, EC, #hs, Snipeboards to give some examples. My experience with hackers is beyond every other admins I've ever talked with: I am majoring in Computer science and have a passion for programming. I know how hacking software operate and I know how to find them easily. I have enough hours in this game to know if a shot that someone made is legit or complete automation. I can feel awkward shots that even the best snipers can't pull off because I have played against god tier snipers.

In the past years I am 100% sure that I have banned more hackers than any other admins on this server, I have been the most consistent admin online for the past year. Why do you ask ? because I love this community and it is dying. I'm trying to protect it from anything.

Yes I have used hacking software in the past on other accounts and it is why I have been removed my adminship. Let me explain, this happened 2 years ago when I was just starting to have interest in programming and I was very curious to know how these software worked. So what I did was download the source code from these free hacking software, analyze them and see how they react in real time and the only way to do that is to try it yourself. It is only after that I realized that I had made a mistake playing on one of my favorite servers and felt ashamed for a long period of time. Did this experience made me a bad sport player ? I don't think so, because with the knowledge I got from it got me where I am with my ease of hacking detection. Also, I barely played 20 minutes on Snipezilla with that account. When I first applied I didn't state that I had a VAC banned account because I didn't think it was necessary. I read all the rules and no where it said that I needed to have completely clean Ip address. The only thing that comes even a little close to that is "Have a good reputation" which is WAY too vague to be taken as an argument. Therefore my demotion is not justified by anything, this is why I am making another Admin request.


In conclusion, Sniper vs Sniper is a small but yet awesome community that deserves to be hacker-less and the only to achieve that is with the help of active admins like myself.

Curiosity killed the cat, and everyone deserves a second chance. Something that happened 2 years ago is inssufficient of what you can do in the future, one mistake shouldn't prevent someone from completing amazing tasks ahead of them. Cats is one or maybe is our most active out of all of our admins, and it would be silly to ban him for such a poor reason. On no terms Gabriel hacked or misbehaved on any of the SnipeZilla servers, this can be a beef that I shouldn't interfere with, but I feel like this was a little hasty with the decision of demoting him.
That's all I have to say about the conflict, would love to have you back Gabe.

Votes so far: 3 Yes 1 No, initially the final decision is up do Doggy Style And Ceds, but i feel Cats is a good guy. when this Cats Vs Sz case started, I read on Cedde's post something about cats pissing him off on an alt account or something before meaning that's why he traced accounts, but i kinda wanna know more about what was going on that started all of this? Like i understand new information and such, but his loyal service to Sz has been seriously recognized, by probably ALL of us, plus he does represent a clan that is on our servers from time to time (-hs-) being the only one trustable with server admin. #MemeFinish

In particular when you just mentioned that it cost you one of your favourite servers, as that seems like something worth mentioning.

There are 2 reasons for the "secrecy". First because I was ashamed then after a couple time I told myself that it wouldn't be relevant in the future that I have hacked for less than 2 hours on an account and if so that I could be easily forgiven. When I made my admin application, I did not even think about that, because I didn't think it would be relevant and it wasn't because no where it says that I need to have a clean IP address in the admin rules.


DrunkDoc, what happened was that I was playing on my alt account(http://steamcommunity.com/id/QuinnyHarley/) just for the fun of not being recognized and Cedde was playing too. After I killed him 3 times in a row, he thought I was suspicious because I was playing very good on an account that didn't have many hours. So from that account that he thought was hacking, he traced my IP and therefore to this 2 years old account. The thing is, Cedde didn't even took the time to spectate me and check if I was actually hacking or not, which is unfair.

Yes I do complain a lot about the Orange only server because I really hate the map and I know how many other great maps out there that could be played instead of this 24/7. Please keep this on topic, this is not at hands here.

I hate being biased, because I'm not familiar with most of you and starting off opposing your points is not a great way to introduce myself, but I want to point this out on behalf on cats. "BUT I don't like when you whining all the time! I love you life, but the issue with this is that it is a map that is constantly being played 24/7, and being one of the most active players on the server it makes a lot of sense why he complaining about the map. I'm not sure if protests are huge in Sweden, but liberating free speech is huge in North America, when you are not happy with an issue that effects you more than once, most people tend to get their point across. Maybe my point is poor but being I'm from a very liberal city, and participating in many political walk-outs and protests, myself this is a valid point. And it's not only cats who complains about the repetitive map, but many admins and players complain about the issue as well. Yes complaining is an immature way to respond to issues sometimes but complaining about complaints isn't much better,(I'm sorry if I offended you, I just really want to point this out of cat's behalf).

Are you his lap dog or? And why did Politics come up? And did you see what i wrote little bit up to Doc? If i had more proof then i could give more bad things as what i have seen! If you gonna be an admin then you gonna have an good behavior, so you show the people as play on your server that everything is FINE! Otherwise you scare them away and you lose popularity to the server! As proof it would be great to see more in the historybox server as what if someone has writed bad things. Because if it is someone as have played most at snipezilla then it's ME! I have seen bad behaviors! Like some Admin have said That SNIPEZILLA SUCKS! But i don't remember who it was! I remade an admin request not by arrogance, but because I was judged unfairly. Yes, I am pissed for being demoted after a year of banning at least 2 hackers per day. I think that should have paid off.

1- Then have a private conversation with Cedde, rather exposing a case that isn't here; cedde didn't ban you on snipezilla, just unadmin you.
2- Admin request format isn't right
3- The reply to Darth dog.
4- They are acting fair, not giving special treatment.

Replying to your insult to my nation, I'm going to keep my rational opinion to myself but share my philosophy on how I respect people and my surroundings. I do not only respect my authorities I respect everyone around me, I'm willing to take your insults against me, my family, my nation, my ethnicity, my mental state, my financial standings and more. But I will not respond to with intentional disrespect, you are a person and not only people who are higher than I am deserve respect, but everyone does, and on behalf of my country I can not confirm that most people have my same opinion on "equality" and respect, and that's why I stated that I was liberal. "Just to clarify, the bigger problem was the secrecy" -Doggy, no one ever asked about a "second account" or if he was ever "VAC banned" during his applications or suspicion of hacking, if you want to point out that you did ask him, I wish that you do so. And him being VAC banned 2 years ago is irrelevant, I won't point out who but I'm sure a few people in this community already knows that his alt account was VAC banned (such as me), since it wasn't an issue and he was not suspected of hacking there was no problem with it. He already was facing the consequences of hacking by losing a precious server of his and forcing himself to move to an entirely new account, it is very irrelevant to demote him due to his VAC banned alt account.
I'd like to repeat a second time I am not trying to attack anyone but pointing out the faults in their posts that are disowning cat's reapplication.

Assuming that Quin was not banned, so there was no violation, but he did find out that Cats did have an alt account that did have a VAC ban. So I don't understand what's the problem? That he could've actually be hacking or he had unbelievable skill that could be fake? I'm not sure why cedde was "pissed" (according to DrunkDoc), and you had no sufficient evidence that he was hacking because you decided not to spectate him. If you can explain your reasoning behind demoting him? Doggy's point of view is he had secrecy about his VAC banned account, I'm guessing you have the same perspective as Doggy. At this moment his alt account with a VAC ban really has no irrelevancy to his demotion.

only thing that can be against his application is "Have a Good Reputation", you do not state that an alt account has to have a "good reputation" neither what type of reputation. This is why legislature is so f***ed up at times, it can be how you interpret it. "Good Reputation" can be reputation with peers, and in sake of TF2: SteamREP. And the definition of "Reputation" is a "widespread belief that someone or something has a particular habit or characteristic". So in sake of cats and this thread, Drunk states,"but i feel Cats is a good guy," and that is his reputation between Drunk. And maybe his reputation on the server is that he is "skilled" or "proficient at sniping". If you would want to state that he must not have a Steam VAC ban then STATE THAT, or "Must have a good reputation with Steam" for the sake of the argument.
This is relatively a long post, and I understand that you will be frustrated with me and you might not understand my reasoning or arguments, if you are confused please reply!

as well what many of you fail to remember, Team Fortress is quote unquote " A Game" calm down not all hackers are jackasses some are jsut tryin shit sure it bothers others but its called not being so quick to throw shit at them and such, you'd never survive with this kind of mentality in the real world. a server is run like a business think of it from a trust standpoint. as well since you dont know cats as you stated dont comment on things that dont concern you like this, his choice to try a reapply
